From today to your first day

Maravier launches in January 2027. Founding members are set up first, during January.

  1. Today

    Reserve your founding price

Pay your first month or year. It’s refundable until launch, and your price is fixed for 24 months from launch.

  2. December 2026

    Tell us about your team

A short form about your business and your staff: what you do, the roles and shifts you have, how pay works, and any licences or cards your staff need. You can type your staff in or upload a spreadsheet.

  3. January 2027

    Your set-up call

You meet your named HR expert. Our legal checks block anything in your first pack that falls below the legal minimum, and anything they flag goes to your HR expert before it’s sent.

  4. Within one working day of your set-up

    Compliant in a day

Your updated contracts for every employee, with the disciplinary and grievance procedures they point to, are ready for you to read and send for e-signature within one working day of finishing your set-up. Your full staff handbook follows in your second month, or straight away if you pay yearly.

  5. From then on

    Hand it to us

Message us in the app. We do the paperwork and run the process; you only make the calls an owner has to make.

Who handles what

Mirith, our assistant, answers everyday questions in the app at any hour, with the source. Anything that could affect someone’s job goes to your HR expert. Here’s how it’s split.

Mirith answers

Everyday questions, answered in the app at any hour, each with the Acas, gov.uk or law page it’s based on.

  • Questions like “Can I refuse a holiday request?”
  • Holiday pay, sick pay, notice and maternity dates worked out
  • Reminders and deadlines
  • Routine letters you approve, like a pay rise
  • Updates when the law changes

Once Mirith is live, our HR experts will check a sample of its answers every week and review any you mark down.

Mirith drafts, your HR expert signs off

Anything that could affect someone’s job, pay or rights. Mirith prepares the paperwork; nothing goes out until your HR expert has checked it.

  • Warnings and dismissals
  • Contract changes that cut pay, hours or rights
  • Pregnancy and maternity, long sickness or disability
  • Grievances, harassment and whistleblowing
  • Anything about the owner’s own conduct
  • Any claim, call from Acas or tribunal

If Mirith isn’t sure which side a question falls on, it passes it to your HR expert.

Your HR expert handles

The calls that need judgement and experience, with you.

  • Difficult conversations and meetings
  • Coaching you before a hearing
  • Whether to settle or defend a claim
  • Arranging an independent investigation when you need one
  • Writing the step-by-step guides Mirith follows

Our employment solicitor will sign off the core templates, such as contracts and dismissal letters, and every update when the law changes. Our HR experts will check the other templates.

You make the final call; we do everything else. The law keeps decisions about your staff with you, the employer, so you decide and we do the work around it.

Mirith is Maravier’s assistant. It isn’t a person, and every reply says whether it came from Mirith or your HR expert. More about your HR expert and Mirith

How fast you’ll hear back

Your HR expert works 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, except bank holidays. In the evenings and at weekends, Mirith answers in the app and passes anything serious to them the next working day.

It’s the same HR expert every time, with a named backup when they’re away. We only change your expert if they leave or you ask, and the new one gets a handover and your full history.

When something goes wrong

A member of staff keeps turning up late. Someone raises a grievance. You’re thinking about letting someone go. Here’s what happens.

  1. Tell Mirith what’s happened, or open a case in the app.

  2. We set out the steps the Acas Code expects, with every deadline.

  3. We write every letter. Your HR expert signs off anything that could end in a dismissal.

  4. You hold the meeting and make the decision, with your HR expert’s help.

  5. Every step is recorded, so you can show what you did and why.

When the law changes

The Employment Rights Act changes keep landing through 2026 and 2027. Each change is handled once, for every client it affects.

  • We check for changes every week, from gov.uk, Acas, new legislation and our solicitor.
  • Our HR experts work out what each change means and which businesses it affects.
  • Our employment solicitor will sign off the new wording.
  • Your documents update before the change starts, and rates like the minimum wage switch on the day they change.
  • The app tells you what changes, what it means for you and what to do by when.
  • Staff re-sign where they need to, and we send the reminders.

If you leave

There’s no contract, so you can cancel online any time. If you pay yearly, we remind you before it renews.

Everything we’ve issued stays yours to download as PDFs, even after you leave: signed contracts, your handbook and policies as issued, letters and records. You’d need them at a tribunal, and the law expects you to keep some records for years. Editing, law-change updates, your HR expert’s checks and the tribunal defence end with your subscription.
