Maravier is a new UK company. We’re appointing our HR experts now. Every one we take on has at least CIPD Level 5 and 3 or more years handling disciplinaries and tribunal claims for small employers. Our employment solicitor will handle the legal documents.

Why we started Maravier

From 1 January 2027, staff can claim unfair dismissal after 6 months, not 2 years, and there’s no cap on compensation. In a business without an HR department, the paperwork that protects you is easy to get wrong, and from 1 January a mistake can cost more.

Some HR support for small businesses comes with long contracts, and some of those renew automatically if you miss a notice deadline. We think the conditions should be easy to find, so Maravier is a monthly plan with no contract, and every condition sits on one page, in plain English, before you pay.

How we work

We’d rather stop the claim than win it. So the plan is built around prevention: up-to-date contracts, probation reviews before month 6 and a fair process every time.
You make the final call; we do everything else. The law keeps decisions about your staff with you. We tell you exactly what to do, and do the work around it.
Answers come with their source. Every answer from Mirith shows the Acas guidance, gov.uk page or law it’s based on.

Our employment solicitor

Will draft the legal documents, such as settlement agreements, and sign off our core templates. Every change to the law will go into our library only once our solicitor has signed it off.
Independent investigators and chairs

For the cases you can’t investigate or hear fairly yourself. They’re never your HR expert, and their findings are their own. When you’d need one
Mirith, our assistant

Answers everyday questions in the app at any hour, only from our approved library of Acas guidance, gov.uk pages and the law, with the source on every answer. Anything serious goes to your HR expert.
