January 2027. Founding members are set up first, during January.

Your first paid month, or your first year if you choose yearly, + VAT at 20%. It’s refundable any time before launch. Your founding price is then fixed for 24 months from launch.

At the end of Sunday 31 January 2027. That date stays the same even if our launch moves.

A call with our founder in December, before launch, then every 3 months during 2027, about what we’ve built and what’s next. Before each call you vote on what we build next, and on the call we tell you what we decided and why. You also get a first look at each new part of the app before it’s released. The calls are about Maravier: questions about your staff go to your HR expert.

You get all of it back. Your pre-order is refundable any time before launch, and if we haven’t launched by 31 March 2027, we refund everyone automatically.

We save your card through Stripe to start your subscription at launch, and email you before the first charge. You can cancel before then.

In December we send you a short form about your staff and invite you to the first founding members’ call. In January we set you up. Your updated contracts are ready for you to read and send for e-signature within one working day of finishing your set-up. Your full staff handbook follows in month two, or straight away if you pay yearly.

£119 a month for up to 5 staff, plus £10 for each extra employee, + VAT at 20% (£142.80 a month, plus £12 for each extra employee, including VAT). Yearly is 10 times the monthly price. See the price for your team

Yes. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at 20%. VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim it.

Yes, online, any time. There’s no contract. If you pay yearly, we remind you before it renews. Everything we’ve issued stays yours to download as PDFs, even after you leave.

Yes. Money back until you press send on your staff’s contracts, for up to 30 days from the day your subscription starts. Read every contract in the app first.

Only these, and only when you ask for them: independent investigations at £995 + VAT at 20% (£1,194 including VAT), independent hearings and appeals at £595 + VAT at 20% (£714 including VAT), settlement agreements at £395 + VAT at 20% (£474 including VAT), and the optional health and safety add-on from summer 2027. Founding members’ prices are fixed for 24 months. After that, rises are never above inflation and always come with 3 months’ notice. How price changes work

No. Sole traders, partnerships and companies are all welcome, as long as you employ staff.

By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. Maravier Ltd is registering for VAT: until our VAT number arrives, your receipt shows the total you paid, and we email you a VAT invoice once it does.

Yes. You get a named HR expert who gets to know your business: the same person every time, with a named backup when they’re away. We only change your expert if they leave or you ask, and the new one gets a handover and your full history.

Mirith, our assistant, answers everyday questions in the app at any hour, with the source. Anything serious goes to your HR expert, who replies by 5pm if it reaches them by 3pm on a working day, and otherwise by noon the next working day. Every dismissal is checked by the next working day. Your HR expert works 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, except bank holidays; in the evenings and at weekends, Mirith answers in the app and passes anything serious to them the next working day. You can also message your HR expert in the app.

Mirith is our assistant, not a person. It answers everyday questions only from our approved library of Acas guidance, gov.uk pages and the law, and shows the source with every answer. Anything serious, such as a pregnancy, a grievance or anything that could end in a dismissal, goes to your HR expert. Every reply is labelled Mirith or with your HR expert’s name, so you always know who answered.

We’re appointing our HR experts now. Every one we take on has at least CIPD Level 5 and 3 or more years handling disciplinaries and tribunal claims for small employers. Our employment solicitor will handle the legal documents.

No. We’re your HR team. Our employment solicitor will draft legal documents such as settlement agreements. As the employer, you make the final call on decisions about your staff, and we do the work around them.

From day one, we defend claims about problems that start after you join, at no extra cost, as long as you ask us before you act and follow our advice. Its final terms are still being signed off by a lawyer. If they change, we’ll email you before you’re charged, and you can have a full refund. How it works

Press “Acas has called” in the app the same day. It goes straight to your HR expert, with the same reply times as anything serious.

We handle the HR for offices, shops, salons, clinics, hospitality and trades, including extra rules like tips policies and CSCS cards. Care homes, home care, childcare, security, farming, haulage and financial services have extra rules we’re still building in, so book a call first. For any other business, we check it fits before launch, and your pre-order stays refundable. Who Maravier is for

Not yet. Employment law there is different, so Maravier covers England, Scotland and Wales.

Maravier is built for 1 to 49 staff. Book a call and we’ll tell you whether it fits.

Yes, as an optional add-on from summer 2027: £25 a month for up to 5 staff, plus £2 for each extra employee, + VAT at 20% (£30 a month, plus £2.40 for each extra employee, including VAT). It starts with offices, shops, salons and clinics; hospitality and trades follow later. You can tick it when you reserve; we won’t charge for it until it’s ready.

No. Each pay period, we send whoever runs your payroll a summary of what’s changed: starters, leavers, pay changes, hours, and statutory sick and family pay due.
